Fragments and Spaces

This series began with an abstract exploration of line and shape, and ended with three very different visual motifs. Fragments is a digitally remixed drawing rendered in the magical colors of India’s Thar Desert, as well as the colors of its sky during the cooler hours of dusk and dawn, when our rugs are often woven. Eulerian is a simple linear composition named for the mathematician Leonhard Euler, while Spaces is inspired by aerial land photography and the map collections of Tantuvi’s founder.
