Malachite 3'x5'
-Second, minor 1/2" spot
-final sale
Malachite’s layered composition is an homage to the terrain and architecture of northern India, where 400 years ago they built elaborately designed stone staircases leading down to ponds and reservoirs, many of which still exist today.
Malachite is made from finely spun cotton that’s been tightly woven on a panja loom using 30% more fiber than typical flatweaves, making it much more durable and comfortable than most — a modern heirloom for your world. Each rug takes a single artisan between four weeks and two months to finish.
- 100% fine Indian cotton, hand-dyed in Jaipur
- Hand-woven in Rajasthan on panja looms
- ¼” thick with a lighter weight and hand-bound edges
- Vacuum and spot-clean as needed with cold water, a mild dish or hand soap, and a soft brush.
